Hermosa Beach · 6 min from Hermosa Pier
Salt off the Pier, sand from The Strand, road grime up PCH - your car earns a wash living in Hermosa. Six minutes south on Pacific Coast Highway brings you to a local Redondo Beach wash with exterior options, full-service vacuuming, and a crew that hand-dries every full-service finish.
Pull in sandy. Roll out sparkling.
If you live on or near The Strand, your car is fighting marine salt, beach sand, and sticky PCH road grime simultaneously. The damage compounds: salt accelerates oxidation, sand scratches clear coat, sun bakes it all on.
The fix is regular short washes, not occasional deep ones. A monthly Big Kahuna ($37) handles the deep clean. Between full washes, the Surf Wash ($18) is a fast exterior reset with ceramic lava when the beach film starts to show.
The covered car-wash bay on the south side of Torrance Blvd, just past Catalina. No appointment needed for regular washes. Catch you on the next wave.
Getting here from Hermosa Beach
From Hermosa Pier, head east on Pier Avenue to Pacific Coast Highway. Turn right (south) on PCH. You'll pass Aviation, cross the Redondo Beach city line, and at Torrance Blvd turn left. We're 617 Torrance Blvd, two blocks down on the right. Six minutes door-to-door without traffic. From the north end of Hermosa (Manhattan Beach Blvd area), the same route adds about three minutes.

Redondo Car Wash, six minutes south on Pacific Coast Highway. Exterior washes start at $10, full-service starts at $25, and the Surf Wash adds ceramic lava for a quick exterior upgrade.
Yes — marine salt accelerates oxidation and rust, especially on hoods and wheels. Washing every 1–2 weeks (a $14 Scuba Wash will do) is the cheapest paint-protection plan you can buy if you live near the Pier or park along The Strand.
All day. We wash vans, wagons, lifted trucks, and SUVs with roof racks every weekend — full-service Beach Bum or Big Kahuna packages carry a small size upcharge for the extra hand-dry time.
Drive to us instead. We have an off-street wash bay so there's no parking meter to feed — you hand us your keys, find a seat in the covered waiting area, and we'll wave you down when it's ready.
