Frequently asked

About the washes + pricing.

  • Do you have a first-time customer offer?

Yes. New Redondo Car Wash customers can unlock a free wash through the homepage promo form. Enter your email, get the one-time code, and show it at checkout.

  • What package should I choose if I only need the outside cleaned?

Choose Jet Wash for the fastest exterior reset, Scuba for foam and sealer wax, or Surf Wash for ceramic lava and tire dressing. Interior vacuum starts with full-service packages.

  • What package should I choose if my car has beach sand inside?

Choose Beach Bum or Big Kahuna for regular sand because both include interior vacuuming and an interior wipe. If sand is packed into seats, tracks, or carpet, ask about an interior detail.

  • How much does a car wash cost at Redondo Car Wash?

Exterior washes start at $10 for the Jet Wash. Full-service washes start at $25 for Beach Bum and $37 for Big Kahuna. Trucks, vans, and SUVs may have an upcharge on full-service washes because they take longer to vacuum and hand-dry.

  • Do I need an appointment for detailing?

Yes. Detail packages take more time and depend on vehicle size and condition. Call first so we can quote the right package, timing, and drop-off plan before you arrive.

  • Can I upgrade my free wash?

Ask at checkout. If upgrade redemptions are available that day, the crew will explain the price difference. If not, redeem the code as the free wash shown in the offer.

  • How much does car detailing cost in Redondo Beach?

Detail packages at Redondo Car Wash run from $99 to $389. Express wax and mini interior options sit at the lower end; complete interior, complete exterior, and full interior-plus-exterior details cost more because they take deeper surface work.

  • How long does a full-service car wash take?

Most full-service washes take around 20 to 25 minutes, depending on the line, vehicle size, and interior condition. Beach Bum starts at $25; Big Kahuna is $37 and adds ceramic lava, wave foam polish, tire dressing, and extra finish work.

  • What is included in a full-service car wash?

A full-service wash includes the exterior wash plus interior vacuum, interior surface wipe, spot-free rinse, and soft-cloth hand dry. Big Kahuna adds upgrades like ceramic lava, wave foam polish, clear coat protectant, air freshener, and hand-applied tire dressing.

  • Do you offer monthly memberships?

No. We keep pricing simple and charge per wash so every visit is tied to the service you actually receive. Exterior washes start at $10, full-service washes start at $25, and you can choose the level that fits your car that day.

  • Do you take Apple Pay, cards, and cash?

Yes. Redondo Car Wash accepts cash, credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. If a payment method is temporarily unavailable, the crew will let you know before checkout.

  • What's included in a ceramic car wash?

A ceramic wash adds ceramic lava to the exterior, creating a slick hydrophobic finish that helps water bead and road film release more easily. At Redondo Car Wash, ceramic lava is included with Surf Wash ($18) and Big Kahuna ($37).

  • Do you offer gift cards or gift washes?

Call the wash for current gift options. Gift washes can be a good fit for birthdays, new drivers, teachers, coaches, and anyone who parks near the beach.

  • What's the difference between the Surf, Scuba, and Jet wash?

Jet Wash ($10) is exterior-only — wash, power dry, spot-free rinse. Scuba Wash ($14) adds wave foam wash and a sealer wax. Surf Wash ($18) adds ceramic lava, wave foam polish, clear coat protectant, and tire dressing. All three skip the interior vacuum — for that, choose Beach Bum or Big Kahuna.

  • Are you a hand car wash?

We are a soft-cloth car wash with a soft-cloth hand-dried finish. That means your car gets a professional wash process, then the crew finishes by hand so mirrors, trim, wheels, and lower panels do not leave wet and spotty.

  • Do you wash trucks and SUVs?

Yes — every truck, van, and SUV is welcome. Full-service washes (Big Kahuna and Beach Bum) carry a vehicle-size upcharge because they take longer to vacuum and hand-dry. Exterior-only washes (Surf, Scuba, Jet) are priced the same regardless of vehicle size.

  • Do you offer car detailing in Redondo Beach?

Yes. We offer six detail packages from $99 to $389, plus add-ons like seat shampoo, carpet shampoo, hand clay and wax, and ceramic wax. Every detail package includes a full-service car wash. Detail jobs are by appointment.

  • Is mobile detailing better than bringing the car to a detail shop?

Mobile detailing is convenient for light jobs. A shop is better for heavier beach sand, shampoo, clay bar, polish, wax, and full-service wash support because the crew has dedicated space, water, drainage, equipment, and multiple hands on site.

  • Is the wash safe for wraps, matte paint, PPF, roof racks, or modified vehicles?

Ask the crew before entering. Many vehicles are fine, but wraps, matte paint, loose trim, roof racks, low clearance, aftermarket parts, and older PPF may need extra caution or a different recommendation.
